The series will launch June 28, with a 6-course dinner at Gastown’s Vancouver Urban Winery, prepared by guest chefs Ned Bell, from YEW restaurant + bar in the Four Seasons and owner/chef of FABLE restaurant, and Season 2 Top Chef Canada Runner-up, Trevor Bird. The two will combine their culinary talents and showcase British Columbia’s pristine seasonal ingredients with BC VQA wine.

The world’s best oyster shuckers will once again meet at the Bearfoot Bistro to compete. The event will also feature BC’s best bartenders and mixologists competing in the Bloody Caesar Battle vying for the top prize. An event in support of Playground Builders, a canadian charity that builds playgrounds for children in war-torn areas. Most have never experienced the joy of a swing or the thrill of a slide. Playground Builders is dedicated to building hope and peace through the gift of play.
