Auszeichnungen
90 Punkte – Natalie MacLean (August 2012)
“Lovely, round and full-bodied with a smokey, green apple finish. Yum. Gastronomische: wild BC salmon with cranberry almond crust, celeriac clafoutis, wilted kale and white wine fumet.”
90 Punkte – Beppi Crosariol (März 2012)
“Full-bodied with lemon curd, pineapple and subtle oak, this silky white is well-balanced with fresh acidity and a subtle, smoky-yeasty tang. Think roast chicken or butter-poached salmon.”
90 Punkte – John Schreiner (März 2012)
“Grant Stanley occasionally takes some heat for making the winery’s “regular” Chardonnay so good that some wonder why they need pay $10 more for the reserve. The point is there is more of this wine and the style is different: only half of this Chardonnay is barrel-fermented. The result is a fresh-tasting wine with a core of sweet citrus-flavoured fruit and very subtle toasty notes of oak in the background. The balance is elegant and the finish lingers.”
90 Punkte – Van Daenna Erde wieder (April 2012)
“A delicious Chardy, brimming with buttered toast, creamy white fruit, nuts and spice and there are plenty of lemony overtones. The palate is smooth and buttery, balanced with generous acidity and lingers with vanilla, spice and pineapple flavours. Very nice richness and complexity here…Pair with grilled corn on the cob, rich creamy pastas or smoked gouda and pear grilled cheese sandwich.”
88 Punkte – Anthony Gismondi (März 2012)
“Oatmeal, garlic, canned fruit, melon, butter, peach aromas. Ripe, frisch, juicy, off dry palate with grapefruit, green apple, cedar, butter, honey, lees and hazelnut flavours. Very citrus, leery, austere style designed for food.”
